The ladies answer a question from Sahara: How do you overcome the naysayers, the family members who can’t understand your dreams and the direction you want to go?
Dana was bursting to answer this question. In her 20’s, Dana used naysayers’ comments as motivation to accomplish her goals. She now recognizes who is being judgmental and who is being curious.
Michelle is much more affected by her family’s perspectives. Considering herself a black sheep from her family, her life choices were highly criticized and she feels like she can’t speak her truth and be her complete self around her family. She chooses wisely when it comes to sharing her truth.
